    Bio:
    Darren Malek is licensed in both Michigan and Illinois, practices throughout the Midwest, and is admitted to practice before several federal districts and courts of appeal across the United States. Prior to forming Veritas Law Group, Darren practiced with Varnum Law and Dickinson Wright, PLLC.

    Darren’s has a unique background involving substantial and varied transactional and litigation experience. He employs a flexible and creative  approach, with an emphasis on proactive measures, early strategic thinking, and practical solutions.

    Darren received his B.A. from Lake Forest College and his J.D. from DePaul University, where he was an associate editor of the DePaul Law Review and was an extern for the Hon. Erwin I. Katz, (Ret.), U.S. Bankruptcy Court, N.D. Ill. While attending law school, he worked for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.

    He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Risk Management Associates, Michigan Bar Association and Illinois Bar Association. He is a graduate of Leadership Kalamazoo and previously served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Portage and the City of Portage’s Vision 2025 Project. Darren serves on the Corporate Board of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.

    In his spare time, he enjoys spending as much time with his family as possible, preferably engaging in outdoor recreation.
